Albania has become one of the fastest-growing destinations on the Adriatic and Ionian coasts, and almost every visitor arrives through Tirana. A pre-booked transfer from Tirana International Airport takes you into the capital, to Durrës on the coast or south towards Vlorë and the Albanian Riviera without negotiating fares on arrival.
Main airports in Albania
Tirana International Airport (TIA), also known as Nënë Tereza, is the country's international gateway and the natural starting point for the riviera, the UNESCO towns of Berat and Gjirokastër and the lakes of the north. Your driver meets you in arrivals with a name sign, tracks your flight and waits free of charge if it is late.
Why book your Albania transfer in advance
Flights to Tirana often land in the evening and the coast is a drive away. With a transfer booked in advance the price is fixed in your currency, the driver follows your flight and the car is the right size for your luggage, whether you stay in the capital or continue to the riviera.
